Cravings for desi food hit us hard and so we headed to the the Lost Tribe in Gulberg. I really, I mean really loved the interior. We had the mutton rosh, it was soft, tender and super flavourful. I really liked the timatar chutney as well. The wrata was juicy, melted in the mouth, and came easily off the bone.

This is one of the best shinwari and authentic Afghan cuisine restaurants in lahore. The lamb meat is well-cooked, tasty and fresh. The place remains crowded and 90 minutes can be a normal waiting time. Recommended for lamb meat.

Ambiance is good, Indoor Sitting is far better than outside sitting.
Tried their Desi Karahi with tikka botti and Trust me both were good 8/10, Though a lil bit pricey but worth having experience for a family.
I just didn’t like one thing.
Their Kandhari Naan, They should offer Roghni naan too. Kandhari naan first of all is not Good for 2 people because As it gets cool down it becomes difficult to chew.

The food at The Lost Tribe is fantastic. We tried the beef seekh kabab, which were juicy and did not leave a greasy feeling in the mouth. The Kabuli pulao and masala rosh were also excellent—tender and not too spicy. These dishes were complemented by a variety of chutneys and tender Afghani naan. One downside we noticed was the presence of some flies, which can be bothersome. To end our meal, we enjoyed Peshawri qehwa with gur, which was a delightful finish to our dining experience. The prices are a bit higher than average, but they offer good value for the quality and variety of food.
Overall, The Lost Tribe is a great place to enjoy traditional desi cuisine with a good atmosphere. Despite a few minor issues, it’s definitely worth a visit.
