Went here for lunch on Monday after i found this restaurant on my google search and tried it myself.
This place is not halal certified. There was a muslim staff who advised me on the beef selection that i needed to avoid because it’s not sourced from halal supplier.
Tried the fried Brussels sprouts and the truffle mash potatoes and they’re great. For the steak, next time i will try medium, rather than medium well. The mushroom soup tasted great too.
All in all, great food great service! Happy tummy

TL;DR – Bad food quality, lousy service, never coming back again.
Firstly, let’s mention the good things. Decor is nice and cozy. We were served warm bread together with the soup, and that’s always a nice touch.
Then everything went downhill fast. Staff were inattentive and doesn’t seem to want to serve customers. Nobody smiles or even a little thank you when people leave.
Mushroom soup was watery and diluted. Onion rings were greasy and fried with black oil. Salted egg chicken was served with a very watered down sauce which tasted bland. Ordered a ribeye steak but was served instead with a sirloin – tough with plenty of gristle/sinew. Not to mention, portion size was small as well.
All in all, congratulations. You have just lost another repeat customer.

Good and relatively safe choice for those trying to increase their protein intake as this place has some decently priced options of steak, chicken and lamb. There are some interesting side choices too but the roasted Brussels sprouts were the BOMB – please try it! Was totally impressed and it was as good if not better than some restaurant versions I’ve tried.
My hot-plate steak was alright – tender but lacking in flavour; with that said I’m generally happy with it given the price. The 2 warm bread rolls that came with the tomato soup was a pleasant surprise and even President butter was provided which felt like a special treat somehow!
Overall a solid, enjoyable lunch and would return.
